Spicy & Steamy Book Event is an event for lovers of the sexy romance books. The event brings together national and international authors and their readers. It’s organized by Kris van Coenen, author, Dutch editor and owner of Wri-traite & Mariëlle Brouwer, author and translator & Saphira Hoevenaars, author.
The event has a wonderful guest list of both national and international authors of sexy romance books in all its genres. It’s a mix of both indie and traditionally published authors.
Visitors can expect a wonderful day where they will be immersed in their favorite hobby: reading. A day where they can meet their favorite authors, buy books and merchandise and have a great outing with friends.
Spicy & Steamy Bookevent is a day that starts with a sexy book and ends with meeting your favorite authors.

How much does a ticket cost?
For 2024, a ticket costs 25 euros excluding administrative fees
What if I suddenly can't come?
Up until 2 weeks in advance you have the right of return
Are there workshops or interviews
Unfortunately, we did not get this organized for the 2024 edition, but it is something we will look at in the future.
What are the payment options?
Each author and shop is responsible for their own payments at their table. Which means that some have an ATM at which payment cards can be used (both pin and cc), but some unfortunately do not have this. Here you will have to settle with cash. If you want to be sure, send your question to the relevant person, or ask in the facebook group!
The RAI only accepts card payments (debit card)
Which authors are present?
All authors will be announced on social media, in the facebook group and here on the site. Of course, this can always change due to circumstances.
